Terms of Service

Description & Operation

Nexcell is an online multiplayer game and platform for user-generated content (e.g., skins and emotes). We operate the game servers, the web portal, and provide tools to browse, upload, and manage content.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

What Is Allowed

• Playing the game, customizing settings, and using provided features
• Uploading skins/emotes you own the rights to share
• Respectful communication and fair play

What Is Not Allowed

• Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior
• Cheating, exploiting, or attempting to disrupt the service
• Uploading illegal content, malware, or infringing materials

Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., skins, emotes), subject to any rights you have granted to third parties. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and share the content.

License You Grant

By uploading content (including skins, emotes, images), you grant Nexcell a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display your content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Services. This license permits continued hosting of approved content even if your account is suspended or deleted, provided the content itself does not violate these Terms or applicable law. We may retain copies as necessary for backups, moderation records, or legal compliance.

Content Approval

All uploads undergo a two-step moderation process (automated analysis followed by human review) before public availability. Nexcell reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify content that violates our rules or applicable law. Only content approved through our moderation process is publicly visible.

Content Rules

• No illegal, hateful, sexualized, or otherwise prohibited materials
• No content that violates intellectual property rights
• We may remove content that we believe violates these Terms

Suspension & Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other actions if we believe you violate these Terms or the law.

Account Bans & Content

Banning a user does not automatically remove their previously approved content from public access. Approved content may remain available so long as it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

Reporting Illegal Content

We take reports of illegal content seriously. Where required or appropriate, we may report suspected illegal activity to relevant authorities and cooperate by providing necessary information (e.g., account identifiers, relevant metadata).

Note: We do not routinely collect more information than needed to operate the service. For third-party sign-in (e.g., Discord), we may only have access to account identifiers provided by that service.

DMCA / Copyright Takedown

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without permission, please contact us on Discord with sufficient detail to locate the content and verify your rights. We will review and respond consistent with applicable law. (Note: We plan to add email support in the future.)
